  • Trauma-informed yoga creates a safe and supportive space for healing and releasing held trauma through a variety of gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices. This approach integrates somatic experiencing techniques, which focus on noticing and releasing sensations in the body, with vagal toning exercises to regulate the nervous system and promote a sense of calm. Drawing from traditional yogic practices, classes offer a gentle exploration of postures, breath awareness, and guided relaxation, empowering individuals to reconnect with their bodies at their own pace and cultivate self-regulation. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and modifications are always offered to ensure accessibility and comfort for all participants.   • Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on holding poses for a longer period of time and aims to target the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles.  Practitioners are encouraged to connect with their breath and body sensations, cultivating a sense of mindfulness and inner peace. Over time, Yin Yoga can improve flexibility and range of motion.  With modifications and props, Yin Yoga can be a beneficial practice for people of all ages and fitness levels.   • Pranayama is a mind, body & spirit breathing technique practiced in yoga and other disciplines to regulate the flow of prana, or life force energy, through the breath.
    Pranayama helps to improve lung capacity, heart health, and digestion. It has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, promoting mental clarity and focus.
    By connecting and working with the breath or prana, Pranayama can facilitate a deeper connection to the Self, The Universal Energy.
    There are many different Pranayama techniques, each with its own specific benefits. It is our belief that all techniques will eventually lead to the goal of Pranayama which is to maintain a gentle, easy and natural breath via the nostrils that is long, slow and subtle. There should be no retention of the breath inhaled or held, there should be complete ease in the body as the inhale naturally becomes the exhale and the exhale naturally becomes the inhale. The posture should be comfortable while maintaining an erect spine and aligned skull. No strain or stress should be present in the body.

  • Unlike power yoga or vinyasa, slow flow yoga moves at a more leisurely pace, allowing for deeper focus and alignment.  Poses are held for several breaths, providing an opportunity to connect with your body and mind.  The focus is on being present and aware of your breath and sensations.  Slow flow yoga is suitable for people of all fitness levels, including beginners.     Sound Bath with Tuning Forks:

These sessions combine the immersive sound bath instruments with the targeted vibrational healing of unweighted and weighted tuning forks, enhancing energetic flow and balance throughout your system.

    90 minutes: $180 (The extended time allows for a more comprehensive integration of sound and vibrational frequencies, facilitating deeper release and recalibration.)

  • This powerful modality, typically concluding with the grounding presence of the Spirit Drum, utilizes a variety of unweighted and weighted tuning forks, as well as Solfeggio pipes, to locate and clear energetic distortions in your biofield (the energy field surrounding your body). By working with these precise frequencies, we can help to:

  • To deepen your experience and support your well-being, every session inherently includes Pranayama (breathwork) and the gentle yet powerful energy work of Reiki, unless you prefer otherwise. Furthermore, we thoughtfully integrate the therapeutic benefits of crystals and aromatherapy, intuitively selected to complement your session and enhance your journey towards peace and equilibrium.

  • While sound healing and biofield tuning are generally safe and profoundly beneficial, certain conditions require caution or may contraindicate participation. Your safety and well-being are paramount.


    Please inform Jena prior to your session if any of the following apply to you:

    Pregnancy: Especially during the first and third trimesters. While gentle sound is often fine, the amplified vibrations can travel efficiently through fluid and may overstimulate. Biofield Tuning is generally not recommended during pregnancy due to the potential for strong healing responses.


    Pacemakers, Defibrillators, or Other Implanted Electrical Devices: The vibrations from sound instruments and tuning forks could potentially interfere with the function of these devices.

    Metal Implants (plates, pins, rods, joint replacements, dental implants etc.): While generally safe, some individuals may experience discomfort due to the vibration interacting with metal in the body. For Biofield Tuning, it's generally advised to avoid direct application over such areas.

    Epilepsy or Seizure Disorders (especially sound-induced): Certain frequencies or strong vibrations could potentially trigger a seizure.

    Severe Mental Health Conditions (e.g., severe psychosis, unmanaged bipolar disorder, paranoid schizophrenia): Sound healing can sometimes evoke strong emotional releases, which might be overwhelming for individuals with certain severe mental health conditions. Please consult with your mental health professional before booking.

    Acute Inflammation, Infections, or Fever: It's generally best to wait until your body has recovered before engaging in energetic work.

    Recent Surgeries, Open Wounds, or Unhealed Fractures: Direct application of instruments or strong vibrations near these areas should be avoided.

    Individuals who are extremely ill or receiving palliative care: Biofield Tuning may create a strong healing response or "detox" reaction that could be too taxing for a very compromised system.

    Recent Concussion or Traumatic Brain Injury (within 3 months): Biofield Tuning is generally not advised for recent concussions.

    It is crucial to discuss any medical conditions or concerns with your healthcare provider before participating in sound healing or biofield tuning sessions. 

    Jena is committed to your safety and will work with you to determine the most appropriate and beneficial session, or advise if another approach would be more suitable at this time.
